Calgary Transport Museum
Situated on the Macleantown Road, about 13 km from East London,
is the Calgary Transport Museum. Once the devotion of Robin and
Cynthia Wells, the museum has managed to survive Robin's
untimely death and today still boasts a wonderful collection of early
South African wagons and carts. The museum's hall (holding about
100 people) is convenient to conferences, workshops and social
gatherings, and sleep-over accommodation as well as space for four
caravans is also available.
